My
task for this project was to create a set of interesting
icons capturing the essence of each city to be visited
as the player travels through the game. The challenge
to accentuate the character of each city or location
in one simple icon pushed me to create clear and concise
graphics. The process involved Pen/Paper, Adobe Illustrator,
3d Studio Max, and Adobe Photoshop.
As
you can see, my work on the location icons, and the
contributions of artists: Adam deGrandis, Mark McCoy,
and Joe Maruschak made the final in-game map view much
more visually interesting than your average road map.
